What they get

On the day, a Gift Box opens in the game. Their friends’ cards appear one at a time, then their own Legendary card. Nothing in it is random.

A Christmas gift says “Happy Christmas”. A birthday gift says “Happy birthday”.
Giving it on the day
The gift comes by email, with a greeting card to print at home. It shows your message, their club’s crest, a QR code and the gift code. Put it in an envelope, or inside a birthday or Christmas card. No printer? Write the gift code inside any card. Not with them on the day? Ring their parents with the gift code, or forward them the email.
Before the day
You or their parents put the game on their phone or tablet. It’s a web app, not from an app store, so nobody needs an app store account or password. You open its web address in Safari or Chrome, then add it to the home screen. It then has its own icon and opens like any app. The greeting card shows each step, with pictures. On the day, they type the gift code, and their club and card open.
To play, they need an iPhone, an iPad, or an Android phone or tablet with Chrome.

In the gift shop, add their first name and cartoon look, their club, up to 4 friends and your message.
You order and pay by card.
The €24 is reserved on your card, and only taken when I send you the gift.
You get the gift.
It comes within 6 days of your order, and before the birthday or Christmas Day.
Buying as a grandparent?
You make the gift in an account in the gift shop, then pay by card. Ask their parents for the friends’ first names and looks, or make it with them.
Before the day, their parents put the game on the child’s phone or tablet. The greeting card shows the steps.
On the day, they type the gift code, and their club and card open.
Ask their parents which phone or tablet it’s for: only one gift fits on each.

Nothing to buy in the game, ever. No adverts. No chat and no strangers. No accounts in the game: children never sign up or give an email address. It works without the internet once it’s on their phone or tablet. Every player, club and town is made up, apart from the child and the people you add.
